TEPEZZA®
TEPEZZA® (teprotumumab-trbw) is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).
It reduces the signs and symptoms of TED, including eye bulging, double vision, eye pain, redness, and swelling.
TEPEZZA® is manufactured by Horizon Therapeutics.
Administration and Dosage:
Administration of TEPEZZA® follows an induction regimen of one intravenous infusion at 10 mg/kg, followed by a maintenance infusion of 20 mg/kg every three weeks for 7 additional infusions.
Indication:
TEPEZZA® is indicated to treat Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).
Common Side Effects:
The more common side effects of TEPEZZA® include muscle spasms, nausea, hair loss, diarrhea, and fatigue.
